This is a blog series of my work in Progress for my semester long Junior Thesis Project, The King in Yellow. This will eventually become a Title Sequence, but for now, the uploads here are bits and pieces of my process leading up to my finished piece. What we have here today is UV Mapping of the fish. I took other textures from fishes across the internet and used their information as my base texture. I then took the other textures and made a opacity and bump map to bring out more details of the fish. Once I had my scene ready, using x-particles, organizing the multi-pass in octane, I rendered out and did some color tests. The yellowish green, murky one was chosen for its great illusion of depth in space.
